A head-on car accident has taken the lives of five people and critically injured two in Louisiana. The Louisiana car accident occurred last week as a group of people were returning home from church when a truck collided with the church-going group. The accident may have been the result of drunk driving on the part of the pickup truck driver, the police report.
The car accident happened at about 10 p.m. on LA 67 near LA 412 in the town of Slaughter. Investigators said that a Dodge pickup truck drove directly into the car carrying the group, resulting in the tragic head-on collision. The pickup truck driver suffered minor injuries.
